WHATS NEW?

We’re very excited to present to you our all new range of shampoos and conditioners!

We have worked very hard to formulate shampoo and conditioner products that are not only safe and natural, but will leave your horses coat glistening and shining.  With the addition of hand picked essential oils this range is sure to leave your horse feeling revitalised and refreshed, as one always should after a bath!

Many commercial horse shampoo and conditioner products contain so many harmful chemicals and artificial shining agents.  One of the many chemicals that is NOT present in our range is sulphate.  Sulphate is responsible for all the excess lather in regular shampoos and is also the culprit of you and your horse becoming drenched and cold trying to get all the ‘suds’ out.  Because our range is sulphate free, the products will work up a natural lather and therefore rinses out much easier.  Saving you time and leaving you and your horse to become dryer quicker and to finish the task of bathing much quicker.  Because our range doesn't contain sulphate, it is thiner in consistancy, but this doesn't mean you need to use more.  Once sponged in, it will create a natural lather and you will be astonished at how quickly it washes our - you will wonder how you ever did without it!  A preservative is added to increase shelf life as well as a mild chemical agent to assist in fighting skin bacteria.  We’re proud to say that these are the only unnatural ingredients in this range, which is quite impressive when you look at the string of chemicals in other shampoo and conditioner products – and that is only if they dare share the ingredients with you!

It is important to remember that any chemicals in products that are applied to the skin travel to the bloodstream and can have many negative affects.  The heavily dosed up chemical products may be cheaper, but they certainly aren’t safer and usually not as effective.

Our range works to clean dust, dirt and dead skin cells from the coat, while nourishing and hydrating the skin and coat at the same time.  It is also suitable for sensitive skin types.

We’re starting off this range with 3 products, and as the interest expands, so will the range!  Check back to this page regularly to browse new products in this range.

With all of these products, hake well before use to ensure even mix of essential oils.

Clean and shine shampoo

The clean and shine shampoo will leave your horse feeling not only refreshed, but he will be clean and possess a natural shine.

Wet the entire horse, then pour desired amount of shampoo into a bucket of warm water, mix in and sponge the mixture all over the horse.  Once the horse is covered and has been rubbed over with a sponge, grab a curry comb and massage the horse over to help bring imbedded dirt, dust and dead skin cells to the surface.  Next step is to get a water scraper and scrape off excess shampoo.  Once that is done, rinse the horse off thoroughly, scrape again, towel dry and you’re done!  If you desire extra shine and softness of the coat, condition the whole horse, or just the mane and tail (unless planning to plait within the next 48hrs) with silky pony conditioner.

Ingredients:

I make all the shampoos myself, so we both know exactly what goes into them and why.

Shampoo base – a sulphate free shampoo base is used for the bulk of the product.  This is used to help clean the horse and is free from many harmful chemicals

Rosemary and chamomile hydrosol – these 2 hydrosols are present for their kindness on the skin, natural cleaning and shining properties

Ginger – helps to relax muscles which is perfect to treat the day before competitions!
